Mutants! #001

Inspiration of my life.

Hi again! today i want to show you my Mutant collection, for TNT, Wasteland 3 Meltdown, and other awesome post apocalyptic games.

I was able to get a new lightbox, so now I can take better pictures, although I'm still working on the angle of the camera.

I did these a few months ago for TNT with the new ghouls and the poxwalkers kit from GW, greenstuff and some bits, running them as a Cannibal Mutant Warband, all of them have shitty names (why not?) and are build WYSIWYG.

First, the cannon fodder, the lowest mutants in the family, the sewer clan:

"Poop"

"Shit", the wizard.

"Scum"

"Turd"

"Belial" the unloved brother.

"Anus" the boss snail mascot.

And now the close combat muscle, the brothers:

"Pigface"

"Goblin"

"Boner"

The last litter of the family:

"Idiot"

"Meat"

"Deaf"

"Fat"

 And FINALLY, the mutant leader:

"Gimp"

I have some of my first mutants, made with the old ghoul models, i really love them, even if they look like shit haha.

And as if that were not enough, i have a big lot of mutants from Ramshackle Games, 10 poxwalkers  and a few plastic ghouls waiting in my desk, haha!

Cheers!

Spaceport #001

This is the first post of 2019, these months were somewhat complicated for me, but I already have a little free time to return to the hobby, and a HUGE bag of awesomeness from Ramshackle Games! (thanks Curtis!)
H O L Y  S H I T!
Resin at its finest.

In this post i'm going to share some pictures about my experiences in sculpting and casting in the 28mm scale. This miniature is part of five generic civilians for post apocalyptic / sci-fi games.

WIP of the first dude, with a Ramshackle Mole Gas Mask for scale, no hands yet, because i didn't take a picture of that step.

When i was able to finish it, i glue the green in a plastic tab so it can fit in a slotta base easily, and it was ready for the mold. The first pull was perfect! 0 bubbles and almost no moldlines!

The next step was obvious, so I put my hands to work, there is the result!

I'm waiting for a lightbox, so I'll be able to take better quality photos (I hope) from the rest of my painted miniatures. I hope this post was interesting, and if you are interested in a tutorial, or whatever, leave me a comment! see you next time!

Skaven gang in Spaaaaaaace!

Since eons we have imagined the little rat men with autoguns fighting in the underhive, or descending from a spaceship in the star port to sell their space crap, so I said to myself, why not?

It all started when I got second hand slaves, when they arrived I could see those beautiful rats sculpted by Jes Goodwin (a mixture of C47 Warriors and Slaves).

After searching online on the subject of "Skaven in the Grimdark Future", I found this article, and the idea arose almost by itself, thanks to its chaotic appearance, I decided to throw on them bits of plastic CSM, and a little work of greenstuff (sculpting some hands that were cut, some gas masks, etc) looking to have what it takes for a war band: a leader, some seconds in command, the communications guy, some supports and cannon fodder.

The gang was named Private Rat Contractors, because they look like seasoned veterans or mercenaries, and they are better equiped than a cultist coven is, for example.

The painting work was a pleasant process, which was towards the end of June of this year, although it did not leave me 100% satisfied, I think it fulfilled its purpose, making it look like dirty rats and with old and rusty equipment in the spaaaace!

So, here is the complete gang. Sorry about the pictures, i'm working on it.

Spike Ironfist, the leader for obvious reasons.

Pirate, the cool guy with the patch in the eye.

The nameless guy with the huge flail. I love flails,

The Rookie.

He is the group's chef.

The Comms guy, i'm really proud of this dude.

The Smoking dude.

Another dude with a flail... the most selled weapon in the grim dark future?

A rat with style.

The most crappiest picture of the post.
What do you think?

I hope you have enjoyed this Post, so grab some lead and make some rats in spaaaaaaaaaace!!!!

Welcome to the Z bunker!

Hello, I'm Z and this is my blog about my addiction to wargames, where I will try to keep all my projects updated, ranging from Terrain to Sculpting miniatures.

All my projects are related to the universe of Warhammer 40.000 (Oldhammer! Fuck yeah!) in a post apocalyptic vision and Blanchitsu style, generally to play at skirmish level, such as Necromunda, Inq28, Mordheim and fan made games.

I'm also going to post about non-GW things, like This is not a Test, Wasteland 3 Meltdown, and other post-apocalyptic wargames.

I will try to make tutorials about the techniques I use to paint and make scenery and miniatures, so I get any suggestions on that, just use the box to contact me via email or comment.

I leave as an introduction to my blog some images of my projects that I will be publishing shortly and future projects to finish.

PD: I also handle Gorehound Toys, where I sculpt from scratch, make molds and make copies of my figures, I leave the Instagram link if you want to see some pieces of radioactive resin!

OLDHAMMER: The Private Rat Contractors, a ever-wanted race in the 40k setting
THIS IS NOT A TEST: The infamous warband of cannibal mutants of the Yogurt Factory, of our
ongoing campaign.

INQ28: Working on a Inquisitor and his henchmen in the blanchitsu style.

I have a fuckton of miniatures and terrain to finnish
aaaAAAHHHRGG!!
Hope you like this little blog, follow and come back again next time!
